South Sakhalinsk Airport, in close collaboration with government agencies, is implementing a comprehensive set of measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection:

    • Passengers are required to undergo temperature screening using both stationary and portable equipment.
    • Medical teams from the airport and South Sakhalinsk medical institutions, as well as specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor office for Sakhalin Region, are on duty around the clock in the passenger terminal. If necessary, based on their decision, samples may be taken from passengers.
    • Hand disinfection stations have been organized for passengers in the arrival and departure areas of domestic and international flights.
    • Floor markings have been established in passenger check-in areas and during pre-flight screening to ensure social distancing of 1.5 meters.
